A brand new way of telling the time, with the 100% manufacture HW20 Jumping Hours Central Tourbillon calibre.
In the centre of this partially-skeletonized movement, playing the leading role, sits a central tourbillon. Its cage rotates completely once every minute, offsetting the effect of gravity on the performance of the watch. Held in place by a ceramic ball bearing fixed to the plate, with no upper bridge, this flying tourbillon appears to be hanging in mid-air, centre stage, focussing all eyes on it.
Around it, arranged in concentric circles, Hysek has designed multiple levels of time-telling. The first disc marks minutes. The slim, black circle is engraved in white and has 60 minute markings. The hour disc sits above it, graduated over 24 hours.
Hysek’s hallmark Rose des vents compass rose finish graces all the bridges.
Guaranteeing a 42-hour power reserve, the HW20 Jumping Hours Central Tourbillon has 322 parts. The time is set with a single button, located at 3 o’clock.
